Honorable Wives of the Prophet (PBUH)

Who were the wives of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), also known as the mothers of believers? What were their lives like and what role did they play in the spread of Islam?

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) has been sent by Allah to this World so that people may follow him and succeed to win Paradise. Allah Almighty has recommended the people of the World to follow the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) however we must also note that some exceptions in the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) only pertain to him.

The number of wives allowed is one of those exceptions. The people of this Ummah cannot have more than four wives at a time. But the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was allowed to do multiple marriages. But why? There were many long term reasons behind this.

  2. Must read

The book gives a clear guide regarding the position of women in Islam. I particular it covers the more controversial issues, which I liked about the book. Howevere since the book tries to cover a lot of topics it doesnt go in to depth but provides a comprehesive summary of them all.

  3. A must read

"This book clearly calrifies the postion of men and women. Neither gender is superior or inferior instead Allah has given them seperate roles according to their biological compostion and nature. ""If a woman prays regularly five times a day, fasts the month (of Ramadan), guards her chastity and obeys her husband, it will be said to her: Enter Paradise from whichever gate you wish.""
