Overview:

In practical life, adherence to Islamic rulings is the true identity of a Muslim. Therefore, in matters of beliefs, worship, dealings, ethics, and habits, the guidance of Islamic Shariah should always be followed. Among the various obligations and duties, married Muslim couples bear the additional responsibility of desiring and striving for righteous offspring. However, they must ensure adherence to the limits and guidelines set by Shariah for seeking children, avoiding forbidden methods and practices involving shirk (polytheism).

When Allah accepts their supplications and grants them children, they should familiarize themselves with and act upon the rulings related to pregnancy and childbirth. Upon the birth of a child, they should follow Islamic guidelines, such as naming the newborn, performing the Aqeeqah (sacrificial offering), shaving the baby's head, circumcision, breastfeeding issues, and understanding the educational and moral responsibilities towards the child.

The book under review, "Ahkam-o-Masail for Children: From Birth to Puberty," sheds light on these aspects of Islamic life in an excellent manner, offering guidance on the rulings and responsibilities associated with children, from birth to adolescence.
