About Sheikh Abdus Salam Rustami

Sheikh Abu Zakariya Abdus Salam Rustami (1936-2014) was a scholar from Rustam in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He taught tafsir for decades and wrote more than twenty works in Arabic, Urdu and Pashto, including studies in the sciences of the Quran. Ahsan al-Kalam is his best-known tafsir. It explains the verses in clear Pashto, drawing on the Quran itself, authentic hadith and the explanations of the early scholars.

Not the same as the Urdu Ahsan ul Kalam
