About the Author & Translator

This tafsir is based on the original commentary of the classical scholar Al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir. This abridged edition (Exégèse Abrégée) was prepared by a group of scholars under the direction of Sheikh Safiur-Rahman Al-Mubarakpuri, the same scholar known for authoring "The Sealed Nectar" (Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum).
