This edition is intended to give children and beginners a clear first impression of the Prophet’s ﷺ mission, character, and foundational role in Islam. Presented in straightforward English so that young minds can grasp the essence of his message and legacy.

I find this one a bit difficult to rate.

It was well written, and despite the few little inaccuracies here and there, it stayed fairly faithful to the facts we know about the life of our Prophet Muhammad PBUH. On the other hand, as a Muslim myself, this kind of a book that sort of fictionalizes ( i.e. puts words and gives feelings to the people, whom we respect greatly, that they might have NOT felt or said, hence possibly altering our views on them) the stories I believe in as facts make me a bit uneasy.I would recommend reading this along with at least one or two other books that tell the stories of Islam and its Prophet. That way the picture you'll get will be more complete.

As a Muslim, I have read several books on the life of Muhammad, but this book stands out as a cat...

As a Muslim, I have read several books on the life of Muhammad, but this book stands out as a category of its own.Firstly the book does not claim to be a work of history, rather it is a work of fiction. The narrative is in the first person, with each of the characters telling their personal story.
The author would have had to have done thorough research before attempting a work of such creativity, while at the same time not contradicting known historical data.

Informative and accessible

I loaned this book to a friend. This was a subject I had not explored before and the book was quite illuminating. Written and frequently elegantly. I felt while reading that I could trust his information. The style of this book is fictionalized rather than a novel. The prophet's life is told by the voices of people close to him at each significant phase. The book moves along at a good pace, considering that it covers a life of 62 years in a slender volume.
The afterword is an especially good addition to the body of the book. It summarizes the positive message that Muhammad offered through the structure of Islam as an alternative to the disorder, isolation and easily roused hostility that appears to have been the usual state of the culture before his lifetime.

This book is a good introduction to the 5 pillars of Islam and the life of the Last Prophet.

This book is a good introduction to the 5 pillars of Islam and the life of the Last Prophet.I don't know if I should make my observations public for now before reading a bit more but it is a fantastic form of superior art. The verses from the Quran as well are mystical and magnetizing.
